Public Classes

Basic Dog Manners Class

Good basic manners are a requirement for most pets.  This is a great class for those dogs just getting started (ages 5 months or older) or can serve to practice manners with distractions. This class emphasizes real life skills.  Classes now forming!  Register Here!pawsitive_paws_logo.jpg

Time:  7-8pm
Location:  Bucks County SPCA's Training Center
Cost:  $135.00 per person: 
Class Details:  Pre Register.  We have space for 6 participants and need at least 3 people to holc class

Pet CPR Class

If your pet was injured would you know how to provide pet first aid?  Learn first aid for animals and pet CPR.  Practice on animal manakins and gain confidence in your ability and knowledge in the event of an animal emergency.  Please join us on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 from 12:45-2:45pm for this introductory course to Pet CPR and First Aid.  Register here for Pet CPR!

Cost:  $45.00 per person:  includes a cat or dog first aid book
Class Details:  Pre Register.  We have space for 30 people and need a mimimum of 5 people to hold class.

Additional books and first aid kits are available for pre-class purchase or can be purchased at class.

Canine Good Citizens Class & Test:

Is your dog a Canine Good Citizen (CGC)?  He/she could be!  This is a great class enroll in after basic obedience.  It is recommended that all dog be familiar with sit, lie down and heel before enrolling in CGC.  Bucks County SPCA's CGC class will be held for one hour weekly for 6 weeks, with testing for Canine Good Citizen Certification scheduled for the last class.  Pre-registration is required.  For more information about Canine Good Citizens check out this brochure or email questions to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   Let us know if your dog has never attended group classes before.

Cost:  $100/per dog

Puppy Star Class: 

Puppy Star is an early prep class for Canine Good Citizenship designed just for puppies 8 weeks to 11 months.  This is a great class to get started with basic skills or follow a basic obedience to help you and your puppy reach for the stars.  Continue to enforce the basics; sit, down, heel, giving up toys, handling and puppy playtime.  Bucks County SPCA's Puppy Star class will be held for one hour weekly for 6 weeks, with testing for Puppy Star Certification scheduled for the last class.  Pre-registration is required.  For more information about AKC Puppy Star Program, check out this Puppy Star Brochure or email questions to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   Let us know if your puppy has never attended group classes before.
