On Tuesday, May 25, 2010, 52 Persian cats were removed from a home in Lower Makefield Township, PA.  Due to the owner's declining health, the condtion of the animals and their environment had suffered.  All of the cats were removed to our shelter, where they are being evaluated for health and grooming issues.  The cats were signed over to our shelter and will soon be available for adoption.  Interested adopters can call or stop by to fill out an application for one of these fancy felines.  If you would like to read more about this story, please visit the Bucks County Courier Times website.  Bucks County SPCA has recently had many animal cruelty cases with large numbers of animals involved, which impacts our available resources (such as food, litter, etc.).  If you would like to help, please visit our wish list for items that we are in need of.  You may also donate via PayPal, just click the link on the left hand side of the page.
