Lost & Found

Have you lost your animal... or found someone else's?

For lost pets... here are measures you can take to help you find your pet:

  • DON'T WAIT for your animal to come home on its own
  • Ask around in your neighborhood to see if anyone has spotted your pet
  • Call your local Animal Control Officer / police / Township building
  • Call the Bucks County SPCA
  • Place a descriptive advertisement in your local newspaper
  • Call local veterinarians and provide them with a description/picture of the animal
  • Place Lost Pet posters in the most frequented places in your neighborhood and community, such as grocery stores, Post Offices, pet stores, libraries, schools and restaurants
  • Branch out from there... start with contacting neighboring county animal shelters

For found pets... here are measures you can take to help the pet you've found make its way home:

  • DON'T WAIT to report any found animal
  • Ask around in your neighborhood to see if anyone has lost their pet
  • Call your local Animal Control Officer / police / Township building
  • Call the Bucks County SPCA
  • Place a non-descriptive advertisement in your local newspaper (you want the owner to make a positive identification)
  • Call local veterinarians and provide them with a description
  • Place Found Pet posters in the most frequented places in your neighborhood and community, such as grocery stores, Post Offices, pet stores, libraries, schools and restaurants
  • Branch out from there... start with contacting neighboring county animal shelters
