Getting Involved
Bucks County SPCA is grateful for all the offers of help and interest in helping animals. There are many ways to get involved to help animals directly and indirectly. Volunteer opportunities like Greeter and Community Outreach offers you a chance to get to know your local shelter, our services, how we operate. These are great opportunities to show off your people skills, a trait highly valued in future Animal Care Volunteers. Volunteers are accepted by application. Please fill out a Volunteer Application and drop it off, mail it in or fax it. Please allow at least one month for application processing, then call (215) 794-7425 ext 304, to schedule a phone interview. Print out a reminder card to post on your fridge.

Trail Volunteer
Savannah's Trail is our dog walking trail used by volunteers and potential adopters alike. Through out the year, weeds grow and severe weather takes it toll on this favorite strolling area. Do you enjoy nature, the woods, gardening, and watershed conservation? Maybe you would make a great Trail Volunteer. Our trail is currently maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers who need your help to keep Savannah's Trail in tip top shape for all to enjoy. If you are interested in becoming a trail volunteer, kindly submit a Volunteer Application to Diane and she will contact you to schedule your training.
Commitment: Visit the shelter for at least a 3hr shift scheduled with Diane during shelter hours of operation. Trail Volunteers work is done year round. Trail volunteers may be needed for longer shifts depending on what type of trail maintenance is being done.
