Outreach Coordinator (Full-time/Lahaska)

The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the BCSPCA Outreach Program. The position will be the first point of contact for volunteers at our Lahaska facility. Responsibilities will include orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation of volunteers, in close coordination with the Volunteer Manager, and Foster and Offsite Manager. They will help to coordinate the Lahaska based foster program and offsite adoption centers. This position will also support outreach efforts including events and humane education programs at the shelter and in the community.

Volunteer Manager (Full-time / Quakertown)

Do you love people as much as you love animals?  Then you will love working with our amazing BCSPCA volunteer team.  We are hiring a Volunteer Manager to manage a robust program that encompasses two shelter locations and service throughout the community.  Primary responsibilities include program planning and development; implementation including recruitment, orientation, training, supervision, and support of volunteers; and directing and overseeing BCSPCA staff identified as volunteer point personnel.  This position also maintains volunteer records, coordinates volunteer schedules, prepares department reports, and conforms to the approved department budget.  This is a full-time exempt position headquartered in Quakertown, PA, and will also involve regular travel to our Lahaska, PA facility. Clinic Technician (Part-time / Quakertown)

The Clinic Technician is responsible for assisting the veterinarian in surgery and with medical examinations. The technician may also be assigned to perform basic animal care and husbandry, initial physical examinations for incoming animals, assist with veterinary rounds, vaccinate and medicate shelter animals, and schedule animals for examinations as needed. Stop in to apply in person or call 267-347-4674 for more information.

Animal and Customer Care Attendant (Full- and Part-time / Lahaska)

Animal Care Attendant responsibilities include both kennel and office work. Duties include and are not limited to kennel cleaning, animal handling, answering phones, admitting animals, screening for adoptions and responding to after-hours emergencies.
